About our Islamic Knowledge (weekend class) Program

At The Doors of Knowledge Academy (DOKA), we are excited to offer our Islamic Knowledge program, every Saturday from 9:00am - 12:00pm. This program, designed for children ages 3 to 8, provides a wonderful opportunity for young learners to engage in age-appropriate Islamic knowledge activities while enjoying a fun, play-based learning environment.

The Islamic Knowledge weekend program incorporates our full Islamic curriculum, introducing children to a variety of foundational topics that are key to their spiritual and moral development. Children will begin their journey with Qur’aan Memorization & Tafseer, where they will memorize short Surahs and learn their meanings, helping them to understand the profound messages of the Qur’aan. They will also learn about the Seerah & Hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, exploring simple, authentic stories that highlight his exemplary character and teachings, as well as learning basic, authentic Hadith to illustrate the Sunnah in their daily lives.

Through engaging activities, children will be taught the core beliefs of Islam in Aqeeda (Islamic Belief), based on authentic sources from the Qur’aan and Sunnah. This will lay a firm foundation for them to understand and embrace their faith. The program also includes Adhkar (Remembrances), encouraging children to memorize key Duas and understand their meanings to help them develop a personal connection with Allah ﷻ from an early age.

As part of the Morals & Manners section, children will be taught core Islamic values such as kindness, sincerity, respect, honesty, and empathy, fostering good behavior and character based on the teachings of the Qur’aan and Sunnah. In addition, the Arabic Language component introduces children to the basics of the Arabic language, through Qaaidah (Arabic phonics and pronunciation), vocabulary building, and simple language skills. This helps children not only understand and appreciate the Qur’aan but also connect to the rich language of Islam.

 

Through this Islamic Knowledge program, children will develop a love for Islam, strengthen their faith, and gain essential knowledge that will guide them throughout their lives. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young minds to grow in both knowledge and character, all while having fun in a nurturing environment. Parents can rest assured that their children are receiving authentic Islamic teachings while they undertake their weekend errands, preparing them for a lifelong connection with their faith.

Islamic Knowledge for Toddlers Program Fee Structure

• Registration Fee: $100

• Islamic Knowledge (Weekend Class) Students: $450 monthly

• Islamic Knowledge (Weekend Class) Non Students: $500 monthly
