At The Doors of Knowledge Academy (DOKA) Preschool our aim is to nurture future generations by imparting knowledge appropriate for their age and development, equipping them with the tools to succeed in all aspects of this life and more importantly the hereafter.

In our Preschool, we believe in learning through play as the foundation for growth and development. At this level, children engage in activities that promote motor skill development, pre-writing readiness, pre-reading exposure, basic math concepts, and essential social skills. Through interactive and hands-on experiences, our young learners explore, create, and interact, fostering a well-rounded development that prepares them for future academic success and social interactions.

We place our trust in Allâh. Our Guidance is by way of the Quran and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Salaf Us Saalih [Pious Predecessors]. Our motto is ‘Whoever strives will succeed’ and our commitment is to help your child build their thinking, language, physical, social, self-regulation, discipline, and problem-solving skills.

Our guidance is by way of our strong belief system, to provide an educational experience that nurtures, develops and shapes children to become lifelong learners with good character who will productively contribute to society.

Our School and Curriculum is geared towards educating children on aspects of the diverse world we live in and encourages awareness of the many cultures, faiths and groups that coexist in Trinidad and Tobago. We aim, through our curriculum, to bring about awareness to the students, by educating them on being respectful and tolerant whilst guiding them on how they should navigate through the differences.

We provide equal opportunities for each child in our school to achieve their full potential and we strive to ensure that they are all treated with fairness and in honesty.
Through play-based learning, we integrate the national curriculum of Trinidad and Tobago, ensuring that our students meet key developmental milestones. Our Islamic Curriculum, covering Quran memorisation, Tafseer, Aqeedah, Dua memorisation, Hadith memorisation, and Arabic language, forms the heart and soul of our school. This approach nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence, while preparing children for Islamic and academic excellence and social success in a playful and supportive environment.
